YURIKO YAMAUCHI

Born in Aomori, Japan
She lives and works in Paris and Nishinomiya in Japan.
After being graduated from Sofia university in Tokyo, she becomes student at L'Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in France.
At the beginning in Paris, she makes lithographs and etchings. Aomori city owns about 150 of her print-works since 2003.
Public Arts: She designs on tapestry drop curtain(18x9m) in Aomori city hall,2002 and ceramic wall (3x2m) at computer school,1989.
During artist in residence, the theme was "Gender & Globalism", she showed one art work collage by colorful wool and texture on canvas made up of several variations. Other art work is an installation of her's favorite things in CD box.
Recently, she works with acrylic colors, her inspiration is based on spontaneity, fantasy and femnity.
